Fulton, MD – Window Nation is proud to announce that they have hired Yang H. Chang to serve as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. This new position places Chang at the center of all fiscal matters relating to the business. Chang will be based out of the company’s headquarters between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. “We are incredibly excited to have someone of Yang’s caliber join our team,” said CEO, Harley Magden, who founded the company a decade ago with his brother, Aaron. “As our business continues to grow, it’s critical to have an experienced financial mind at the helm, and Yang’s experience with both private and private-equity owned fast growing companies will certainly be an asset for us.” Born in South Korea and raised in Baltimore, Chang has had a broad and distinguished career to date.  Chang spent several years as a consultant at KPMG in Baltimore and then went on to earn her MBA at the Robert H. Smith School for Business at the University of Maryland. She has worked for several private and private-equity owned companies since then in senior-level financial roles. Her strong background in accounting, finance, and business operations make her a good fit for the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of home remodeling. “After leaving KPMG, I decided to focus on privately-owned companies who have experienced rapid growth, as those factors provide layers of complexity and challenges which I enjoy,” Chang said of her decision to join the Window Nation team.  “I thought that Window Nation could benefit from my experience, where I am able to build and strategically improve a myriad of processes.” A former business owner herself, Chang resides in Maple Lawn, just a short drive from Window Nation’s corporate office in Fulton. In her free time, she enjoys traveling globally (having visited 5 continents thus far), skiing, reading, and going to theater and concerts.
