Window Nation

Committed to Community

At Window Nation, there’s nothing more important to us than giving back to the communities we serve. We’re proud to have roots in towns across the country, and we’re fortunate to have families in each community trust us with their most important asset – their home.

Row of homes

Entering a new community isn’t a decision we take lightly. We don’t want to simply operate a business in the town – we want to become a part of the community. The towns we serve are diverse, each with their own set of unique needs. We’re proud to support organizations in each of our markets who share our goal of bettering the communities we serve, whether big or small.

Our Mission

At Window Nation, we know there’s nothing more important than your home. However, we recognize that “home” might not mean the same to everyone. Through our Window Nation Cares program, we want to help everyone find a place they can call home in their community.

We’re proud to partner with organizations that provide spaces where everyone can feel safe and welcomed – their perfect fit. Thanks to the support of our customers, we’re able to help these organizations better the communities they serve.

Cleveland Animal Protective League

The Cleveland Animal Protective League's mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. Incorporated in 1913, they are an independent, nonprofit humane society located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. The Cleveland APL provides shelter to homeless animals relinquished by their guardians, animals that are rescued from abuse or neglect and stray or abandoned cats. At Window Nation, we have supported the APL's mission through ongoing charitable donations, most recently the Pledge for Pets Radiothon.

Window Nation Partners with

Habitat for Humanity

Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity helps families achieve strength, stability and independence through safe, decent, and affordable shelter. We’re proud to work with Habitat chapters across the country to donate products and installation for homes in need of windows, doors, and siding. We’re also proud to support the organization’s efforts by donating our time to rebuild homes for families in need.

Members of the Window Nation team in Fulton, MD partnered with Habitat for Humanity Northern Virginia to help rebuild a house for homeowners in the area in need.

University of Maryland School of Medicine

The School of Medicine, established in 1807, is the first public and the fifth oldest medical school in the United States and the first to institute a residency training program. The School of Medicine was the founding school of the University of Maryland and today is an integral part of the 11-campus University System of Maryland. On the University of Maryland’s Baltimore campus, the School of Medicine serves as the anchor for a large academic health center which aims to provide the best medical education, conduct the most innovative biomedical research and provide the best patient care and community service to Maryland and beyond. While its tradition of excellence remains constant, the School of Medicine and its reputation for academic achievement continue to grow.

Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh

Renowned for its outstanding clinical services, research programs and medical education, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC has helped establish the standards of excellence in pediatric care. Window Nation is very excited to announce that we have donated $10,000 to help further the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's excellence.

COATS FOR KIDS

In 1981, local radio station employees became aware of a large number of children missing school in the winter because they did not have warm coats. That November, Coats for Kids – Cleveland was founded when the radio station began soliciting donations of new or like-new winter coats. That first campaign filled the studio, and subsequent campaigns brought in even more coats, along with monetary donations used to purchase new coats.

Since then, millions of dollars have been raised and hundreds of thousands of new and like-new coats have been distributed to children in need in northeast Ohio.

Window Nation’s Efforts: Owners Harley and Aaron Magden, of Window Nation, have been avid supporters of Coats for Kids since 2013. The company contributed nearly $5,000 to the CFK organization just in return for customers mentioning Mike Trivisonno when they visited one of the northeast Ohio showrooms.

This year, Window Nation was honored with the opportunity to feature as the presenting sponsor of Triv’s Vegas Show at the Hilton Garden Inn on November 20 and 21. In addition, Window Nation was also able to donate $10,000 to help defray expenses associated with the Vegas Show.

This campaign season, the Window Nation showrooms in Warrensville Heights and on Grayton Road in Cleveland are also collecting coats! So if you get the chance, please feel free to stop by one of our locations to contribute your own donations!
