CLEVELAND (August 17, 2016) – Window Nation, one of the country’s leading replacement window companies, is celebrating 10 years of business this summer. Over the past decade, Window Nation has grown to become the 6th largest home improvement and home remodeling company in the U.S., improving from its 9th place ranking just last year, according to the 2016 Remodeling 550 List, published by Remodeling Magazine. Founded in 2006 by brothers Aaron and Harley Magden, Window Nation has installed over 275,000 windows across northeast Ohio, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and northern Virginia.

From the start, Window Nation’s goal has been to guide homeowners in their search for the best solution for their home improvement needs – even if the best solution was going in a different direction. This desire to help others and put the customer first stems from the brother’s Midwestern roots.

“Growing up in Cleveland, it was drilled into us daily the value of building relationships — in all aspects of our lives — and helping people. Especially with something as personal as someone’s home, where they raise their family. It’s not to be taken lightly,” said Harley Magden.

As third generation window experts, the Magden brothers grew up learning the home improvement business from their father and grandfather.

“Most people grow up wanting to be a quarterback or astronaut. Not us. We knew as small kids what we wanted to do,” added Aaron Magden. “Literally growing up in windows, we quickly learned that everyone has a choice. And to earn someone’s business, you have to demonstrate that you deserve it. We believe in this wholeheartedly. There’s no shortage of great companies out there to work with. So our goal every day is to make our customers feel good about their decision and show we’re on their side, throughout the entire process and beyond,” he added.

Over the past decade, their customer-centric approach and industry knowledge has earned them yearly accolades. In addition to improving to the 6th largest home improvement company, Window Nation was named Dealer of the Year for its use of social media to help best service customers by Window & Door Magazine in 2015, yearly recognition from Angi for customer service excellence and being one of the top 10 window and door dealers in the U.S. by Door and Window Market.

Window Nation now employees 246 people throughout 8 offices across five states. Additionally, they have increased their revenue year after year, even during a down economy. Of their profits, the company gives back a generous portion of their sales year after year to help local charities, including providing school supplies for schools in need, Coats for Kids and more.

“We believe in doing well by doing good,” explains Harley Magden. “It’s no accident how we got here. We have worked very hard and have an amazing team that believes in our mission and our approach. As such, it’s only right to give back and help others. And as we continue to grow and celebrate more milestones, we’re going to continue to help the customers and communities we serve.”
